Photo dump of our day at Universal! Tim loves Harry Potter so we had to go while we were so close. The entire day was so much fun. We went on a Wednesday and it really wasn’t too busy (at least not like we imagine a Friday or Saturday is like).

We could only go to one of the 2 Harry Potter experiences, so we decided to go to Hogsmeade instead of Diagon Alley. Mostly because Hogsmeade is the original and is the slightly larger of the two.

We walked through Hogwarts to the ride inside the castle, and the ride was really cool. Kind of a roller coaster/3D experience. We were actually very surprised by all the rides we rode on. We were ready to ride them again! Tim found out I’m a screamer on roller coasters and every time I took a breath I could hear him laughing at me. 😂 The hulk ride, Jurassic park ride and the motorbike ride were our favorites.

We did not spend the entire day in the Harry Potter area. We explored all of the Universal Island of Adventures park and rode all of the roller coasters. The universal app was so helpful with watching the wait times to make sure we were not spending our time waiting in lines.

We ate at Three Broomsticks for lunch. It’s a rustic tavern with mostly British food. Tim got the Shepherd’s Pie and said it was very good. I got the Beef Pasties and they were delicious as well. We also tried the famous Butter Beer, 10/10 it was delicious. Also, the pumpkin juice was *chefs kiss*.

We ended the day at Hogshead Brew for a much needed rest from all the walking and a drink until it got dark and the light show on Hogwarts started. It’s kind of a light and laser show that is projected on the side of the Hogwarts Castle. Make sure you have a look at the gallery below to see it sparkle. 🤩

We ended up walking 7 miles total! My feet were done for the day lol we were in bed by 10pm exhausted 😂
